¡De un SUEÑO!
En el verdadero sentido de la palabra. En el 2015 tuve un sueño…
…Entraba en un bar con grande pared roja, un sofá rinconera blanco y el suelo gris. Desde dentro del bar, a través de las grandes ventajas, se observaba, de un lado la ciudad y del otro un mar espléndido que lucía bajo el sol.
Me desperté y le dije a mi socio en Italia “¡He soñado con nuestro futuro bar, no sé dónde está, pero está llegando!”
Seis meses más tarde, Manuela, mi mejor amiga, me presento a Miguel, un viejo amigo suyo y… “casualmente”, nos invita ir de vacaciones a su ciudad… MALAGA.
El primer día que llegamos, fuimos a tomar café en un bar cerca de su casa… al BARE NOSTRUM.
Fue amor a primera vista, al entrar. Había olvidado el sueño, pero en aquel instante estaba realmente dentro de nuevo. Le dije a Miguel “¡Este bar será mío!” a lo cual él contestó “imposible Terry, no está en venta y tampoco tiene ningún interés en venderlo por ahora”.
No existe la palabra IMPOSIBLE cuando crees en un SUEÑO. Éramos 3 los que criamos en este sueño y así nos presentamos: Claudio, Andrea y Terry.
No sabíamos hablar ni una sola palabra en español, pero desde Italia empezamos con los tramites. No tuvimos bar nunca, pero la pasión nos hizo aprender rápido el oficio.
¡Ahora nuestro sueño es mejorar el servicio y que todos nuestros clientes, viniendo a nuestro bar… el BARE NOSTRUM… puedan realizar sus sueños a través de la gran ENERGIA que nos ha cuidado a nosotros!.

How Bare Nostrum was born?

Once upon a DREAM!
The actual meaning of the words. In 2015 I had a dream…
…Walking in a bar with big red walls, a white sofa on one side and grey floors. From inside the bar through big glass windows you could see the city and on the other side an splendid sea shining under the sun.
I woke up and told my partner in Italy “I dreamed of our future bar, I don’t know where it is but we’ll get there!”
Six month later, Manuela, my best friend, presented me to Miguel, an old friend of hers and… “just by chance”, he invited us to go on holiday to his home town… MALAGA!
The first day we arrived we went for coffee on a bar close to his home… The BARE NOSTRUM!
Just walking in was like love at first sight! I had forgot about that dream, but in that moment recalled everything. I told Miguel “This Bar is going to be mine!” He replied that that was impossible that it wasn’t for sale and that the owners had no interest in selling it. But there’s nothing IMPOSSIBLE when you believe in your DREAMS.
Were 3 the ones who believed in that dream and we presented ourselves as: Claudio, Andrea and Terry.
We didn’t know a word of Spanish, but from Italy we started the paperwork. We never owned a bar before but the passion we felt made us learn faster.
Our dream now is to improve our service and believe that every customer that comes inside the BARE NOSTRUM… can make their own dreams come true through the same ENERGY that has make true our own!
